Summer 2016

We had a very busy and fun summer! We started out our summer with a big road trip to Louisville, Nashville, and St. Louis. As soon as we got back from this 16 day trip we went straight into a four day soccer camp and a busy track season for Julianne and Lorelei. We had a Jamboree (a community party put on by Hope Church) in June and in August again. We also spent all summer planning, preparing, and praying for the re-launch of Hope Church at Salt Mine. We spent a couple days a week (for a couple of hours) prayer walking in the neighborhoods around our new location. God answered our prayer by bringing 100 + people on our first Sunday at this location.
We enjoyed a visit from Uncle Steve, Aunt Shelley, and Grandma Muhleman where we spent quite a bit of time exploring the mountains near Salt Lake City. We went to lots of birthday parties, a 4th of July parade, the Midvale Harvest Days, The Pioneer Museum and the Museum of Natural Curiosity. We went swimming at least once a week, fed the ducks at a local lake, played at parks and splash pads, and enjoyed the company of many friends. The kids have changed quite a bit over the summer. Oraleigh became mobile, Nolan is speaking in sentences with a much greater vocabulary and is no longer terrified of swimming, Morgan taught himself how to swing, Lorelei has overcome her fear of swimming and is a good swimmer, and Julianne has started making beautiful jewelry(necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and rings).
