Last week Julianne and I carved the pumpkin we picked at Huber's. Julianne arranged shapes to make the face, we both worked to scoop out the pumpkin goo and seeds, then I cut out the facial features. After carving the pumpkin I looked over and Julianne was feeding the pumpkin the insides of the pumpkin with the spoon we used to scoop out the guts. Later, we painted pumpkins as a family. Julianne painted the entire pumpkin surface with several layers of paint and Lorelei enjoyed chewing on the pumpkin stem and clean paintbrush. Julianne helped her paint her pumpkin and Lorelei even finger painted on it a little. Here are the results of our pumpkin endeavors.
