Mother's Day

I realize that is is more than a week past Mother's Day, but I've been meaning to make this entry since then and it has just been one of those busy weeks. On Mother's Day we went to church in the morning then went to the Old Spaghetti Factory for lunch. Yum! We all had naps that afternoon and just spent the evening around home. I received some beautiful flowers from Julianne and Lorelei, with the help of a very thoughtful daddy. I am so thankful that God has blessed me with two sweet, healthy girls and that He is faithful to give me the patience, wisdom, and strength to be their mommy. I never imagined what a refining time motherhood would be, but am thankful for the ways that God shows me my inability to be a perfect parent and then reminds me that He is our perfect Father. My daily prayer is that I would be faithful to point my children to Jesus and the saving work He did for them at the cross.
